• SPECTRA adheres to all Cal OSHA standards applicable to the Petro-chemical process operations industry.
  
  
• SPECTRA operates in full compliance with Senate Bill 198. It maintains and follows a written, state of the art, Illness and Injury Prevention Program (IIPP).
  
  
• SPECTRA is committed to its employees. We conduct extensive on-going safety training that encompasses, but is not limited to, basic safety procedures, personal protective equipment, a hearing protection program, drug and alcohol policies, hazard communication techniques and Right-To-Know Law.
  
  
• SPECTRA provides comprehensive new employee orientation that includes a pre-placement physical, substance abuse screening (with annual and random testing), audiogram (with annual update), and all employees must obtain medical respirator certification prior to use of any type of respirator.
  
  
• SPECTRA hires employees who are, or will be, certified in Refinery Safety Overview (RSO).
  
  
• SPECTRA is currently a member in good standing with A.S.A.P.
  
  
• SPECTRA works with both a safety consultant and an insurance coordinator to assist in fulfilling our insurance needs, with emphasis in Workers' Compensation.

Providing cutting edge technology to the Industry requires that we keep up with the changes as they rapidly occur. Training is mandatory for all staff engaged in working outside the office environment and we strive to maintain our lead in this area.
